I have mentioned before that here in Ireland we can get several seasons in a single day, and often I think you can even reduce the time span to an hour.
Last weekend in the bog was a case in point. One minute sunlight was blinding the eyes and the next the cheeks were being stung by round wet drops whistled in by the wind.
Had a great morning in Cork City centre yesterday with great light in the early hours. Now I know a couple of my recent posts have been on the grey side, but one advantage of winter has to be not having to get up really early to catch the first hours of light. I really appreciated that this morning and have a few photos to share, just need to load them on up.
Then there’s the weekly challenge ‘object’ which I have yet to start…..
Wonderful Pictures!!!!!!

So, Ireland is a lot like Florida~ Many times it will be raining in our front yard, but not in the back!

winter seems, to me, to be the most challenging of seasons for photography. You are beginning to prove me wrong! The eye can always find beauty, in form, in shape, in shadow and light.

I only started blogging in May, which has meant i go out and take photographs throughout the year. I thought I would struggle big time through the winter period, but there is always something out there. The winter also has better lower light and it is easier to catch the dawn and the dusk. Lots to be said for it Joss. I am learning fast(ish). 🍀

Ireland sounds a lot like Melbourne, four seasons in one day. Love the photos.

Thank you Diana, much appreciated. Yet to make it to Melbourne, but I hear it is a cool place. Hope you are enjoying your summer and that it is not too hot. 🍀

You will like Melbourne it is a beautiful city, but certainly not as picturesque as Ireland is. 🙂
