Time to Vote – January 2014

At the end of last year  I did a poll to see which images you liked best from my 2013 posts. I found that really interesting and got a pretty good response, so this year I have decided to do a monthly poll, culminating in a year end ‘best of’ post.

So here we are, some of my favourite images posted in January 2014, now let me know your favourite.

Just click on a thumbnail to enlarge an image.

And here is where to vote:

Enjoy your week and thanks for voting. Will let you know my own favourite at the end of the week.

    1. Brilliant, it has a vote at last – it was the last image to be thrown into the mix, but it is never good to see an image voteless. The mossy wall now wants to know when you will be paying a visit Malin – it’s very soft as well as bright 🍀

      1. It really deserves a vote!

You can tell the mossy wall, that I’d love to visit it and feel it with my own hands (and photograph it), but that it’s impossible at the moment. 🙂

  1. I told you once and am going to tell you again that it’s not an easy task to vote for one photo only, it’s not fair, you have many many inspiring and beautiful photos here, guess you know that, don’t you? Have a FEBulous February 🙂

    1. Sometimes you just gotta plump for one. I had a real difficult job trying to choose one photo from that window series, being conscious that my choice isn’t always the popular choice. Cheers Aidy, MM🍀

  2. Hello, first time here. Great photos! I really liked the Wooded Stream photo but gave my vote to Drop of Life for composition and simplicity. Very nice work, keep it up!!

      1. That’s a great idea. I have many ideas for articles so will be in communication regarding photos and how we could work together. Thanks Mick!

  3. Mine fav is on 3rd place…as people voted. Pretty hard to pick one…”All hands on shore” is my choice this time. I usually avoid crowded pictures meaning with people in it. Thus this has something biblical…great captures, MM!

    1. Thank you Dana, I agree about the biblical aspect and thought it would appeal to many as it also has that sense of exotic. Last time I looked ‘Drop of Life’ was leading – a verity, very simple shot. enjoy your day Dana, 💚

  5. That was difficult to choose. I went through thinking “Ooh I like that, but there’s that too, and that … and that” In the end I went for the Iced Thorn 🙂 They are all fantastic shots Mick
