Today’s theme follows on from Wednesday’s post ‘Annual Present from Portugal‘ and includes a handful of decorations hanging on the tree that have been acquired on travels within Europe. We really are so spoilt to have so many countries, cultures and traditions within a handful of hours from where we live. So here we have baubles from Amsterdam and Delft, a wooden figure from Berlin and a pink pig from Prague.
Taking out each one from its wrapper is like opening a present each year and brings back memories of the places visited.
What a lovely idea to buy Christmas decorations from different countries you have visited. Those look really lovely! Beautiful photos!

I love the old fashioned ornaments! I even have ornaments that my great grandmother had on her tree. Lovely shots…they make me feel very Christmassy. 😀

Lovely photos and nice decorations. We just bought our first “real” tree this year (it’s made out of plastic of course).

This may be our last real tree – so expensive! 🎄

Beautiful, MM.
Must be magical each year to see memories of the past unfold.

Oh it is, to see those things that have been hidden away for 11 months. Makes them almost more special than had they been on display throughout the year. 😀🎄

They are so much nicer than the modern gaudy baubles, and each one a memory…Lovely MM.
