Currabinny woods is known for its trees, views over Cork Harbour and is often used for orienteering and scout ventures. Come here early enough and the Hound can be let off the lead to roam around the woods. If all this walking gets too much just head on down to the jetty below and watch the boats from Crosshaven head on out to sea. For me this is the best time to see Currabbinny, cloaked in the rustic colours of Autumn. Hopefully you will agree.
