These days there is one animal I am sure to see each time that I enter the bog – The Hound. I really don’t think he would let me go in there without him. Having had quite a bit of rain of late, parts of the bog are flooded and this is treated as an adventure playground by The Hound. Hopefully the image below captures the boundless enthusiasm The Hound has for frolicking in the water.
The Hound may be a large dog, but it only takes a couple of ducks to fly from the reeds and he gets startled and nervous. A hunting dog he most certainly isn’t, despite having hound genetics. The big softie.
