Well they come in all shapes and sizes, but when first prized from the protective shells they really shine. The outer shell looks as though it could have been ripped off the back of a dinosaur, while the inside is a white cushion to protect this beautiful fruit. The leaves of the Horse Chestnut tree are large and distinctive, being grouped into a cluster and having serrated edges.
I hope you like the conker collection.
My fav is ‘Cracked Open’ – the sheen and grain on the conker is amazing. So who’s the champion in your house? 😉

I’d say The Hound, or he thinks he is anyway. MM

Guess it is just the evergreens round your way. I have to say I love the deciduous trees, their changing colours, assorted fruit and bare winter limbs. MM 🍀
